The cards were stacked against „Sheffield United“ players after an early red card for Mason Holgate. He left the field in the 13th minute after a very rough tackle.
In the 20th minute, Facundo Bounanotte scored the first goal, and a few minutes later Danny Welbeck also found the back of the net.
In the second half, „Brighton“ scored three more goals. Two of them were scored by Simon Adingra, who returned from Africa Cup of Nations triumph.
