„Antalyaspor“ chairman Gultekin Gencer revealed the team's ambitions in the future to acquire „Barcelona“ superstar Lionel Messi.
Playing in the highest league in Turkey from next season, the club has already shaken headlines this summer by attracting Samuel Eto'o and is one step away from signing a contract with Ronaldinho.
Despite these high-profile signings, Gencer says that „Antalyaspor“ is not going to stop.
„I hope that the next president, working after me, will be able to attract Lionel Messi within five years,“ the chairman told LigTV.
Interestingly, the team based in the resort of Antalya will play next season at a new stadium that can accommodate 40,000 people.
