London's "Arsenal" defender Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has suffered a posterior cruciate ligament injury and will not be able to play for about four weeks.
The 21-year-old footballer suffered the injury on Monday, during the FA Cup quarter-final match between the "Gunners" and "Manchester United".
The English national team player is likely to miss the matches against "West Ham", "Newcastle", "Liverpool" and "Monaco". The defender will also not be able to help the national team in matches against Lithuania and Italy.
"This is a classic posterior cruciate ligament injury," said team coach Arsene Wenger. "He will not play for about three or four weeks. This is very painful news, as he has been very important to our team this season."
The young footballer, wearing the "Gunners" jersey, played 35 matches this season and scored three goals.
