On January 13, a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Lithuanian Football Federation was held in Kaunas.
The main agenda item was the appointment and confirmation of the coaches for the Lithuanian national teams.
There are no changes in the coaching staff of the men's national team – the team will continue to be coached by Edgaras Jankauskas and his staff, while new coaches will take over the head coach positions for the other teams.
The women's national team will be led by Tomas Ražanauskas, taking over from Daniel Wimmer, and Rokas Garastas will now coach the U21 men's team in his place.
The U19 men's team will be coached by longtime Lithuanian league coach Mindaugas Čepas, and the U19 women's team will once again be coached by Karolis Jasaitis, who returns to this position after a break.
"As we have publicly mentioned several times before, the men's national team coach and his staff have our full confidence and that of the Executive Committee, so there were absolutely no questions regarding this position.
Meanwhile, we have been in contact with our new national team coaches for quite some time, had more than one productive conversation, and it was clear that our views align.
We can confidently say that these are the most promising coaches we have, and we are very pleased that they agreed to take on this challenge and work with our young footballers, who will constantly be able to learn from such authorities.
We evaluate this coaching staff as a great achievement and have no doubts about this decision,” said LFF president Edgaras Stankevičius.
Confirmed changes in the coaching positions of the Lithuanian national teams:

The head coach of the women's national team has been appointed Tomas Ražanauskas;
The U19 girls' team will be coached by the returning Karolis Jasaitis;
The U17 girls' team will be coached by the specialist who has worked in Lithuania, Vadim Karabetchi;
The U15 girls' team will be coached by Domas Paulauskas.
"The new year also symbolizes changes in the coaching staff. We want to thank the former national team coaches and wish them success in their future career stages, and now we mark a new beginning.
We have entrusted the youth teams to coaches who are known for their work with young players, and we believe that they deserve this opportunity and are rightly considered some of the most promising coaches in the country.
We have no doubt that the assembled coaching team will meet the expectations placed upon them, and we wish them success in representing our national teams,” shared his thoughts LFF technical director Deividas Šemberas.
