Argentina lost to Venezuela in a friendly match with L. Messi

Lionel Messi's return to the Argentine national team was marked by failure - South American representatives in a friendly match in Madrid lost to Venezuela.

L. Messi played with the team for the first time after the World Cup in Russia. The "Barcelona" star played the entire match, but the events on the field did not go in his favor - the Venezuelans triumphed with a score of 3:1.

It is reported that L. Messi suffered an injury during the match, so he will no longer play in this national team cycle.

Salomon Rondon, Jhon Murillo, and Josef Martinez led Venezuela to victory. The only goal for the Argentinians was scored by Lautaro Martinez.

In other friendly matches, the Mexican national team also defeated Chile with a score of 3:1. All four goals were scored in the second half.
