Argentina started their "Copa America" journey with a defeat to Colombia.

On Saturday night, the battles continued in the recently started South American Championship.

In Group B, Argentina and Colombia began their journey. Late Colombian goals determined Argentina's defeat with a score of 0:2.

After the first half, the scoreboard showed two zeros, but in the second half of the match Colombia started punishing their opponents for their own mistakes. In the 71st minute, Roger Martinez scored the first goal, and Duvan Zapata sealed the victory in the 86th minute.

Lionel Messi played the full 90 minutes.

In Group B, Qatar and Paraguay are also competing alongside Argentina and Colombia.

Earlier, the second round of Group A matches between Venezuela and Peru ended in a goalless draw. Venezuelans were forced to play with ten men from the 75th minute.
