The record goal scorer of the Lithuanian A League striker Artūras Rimkevičius might soon sign a contract with the Acre "Hapoel" team.
The 30-year-old striker confirmed to the portal "Eurofootball.com" that he arrived in Israel yesterday and already managed to participate in one training session today. It seems that the trial will continue for a few more days.
It is currently unclear whether A.Rimkevičius will sign a contract with "Hapoel". According to the Lithuanian, by the weekend it should be clear about his future in this club.
The striker left Lithuania in June of last year and has been playing in Brunei until now, where he scored points.
The Acre team is currently playing in the strongest Israeli football league and occupies the 11th place out of 14 teams.
