On Tuesday evening, the first two matches of the UEFA Europa League round of sixteen were played, with victories celebrated by the visiting teams.
Giedrius Arlauskis' Kazan "Rubin" club lost by a minimum score of 0-1 to Piraeus "Olympiakos". The Lithuanian goalkeeper defended the goal for the full 90 minutes.
In the other match, last season's tournament finalist Braga was forced to recognize Istanbul's "Besiktas" players' superiority in front of their own spectators with a score of 0-2.
The remaining round of sixteen matches will be played on Thursday.
