Armed attackers robbed the Portugal national team and Istanbul's "Besiktas" right-back Ricardo Quaresma's safety.

On Tuesday, criminals stopped the footballer's car in a suburb of Lisbon, threatened him with weapons, and took money, jewelry, and a luxury watch. The loss amounts to about 80 thousand euros.

Throughout his career, Quaresma has played for clubs such as "Porto", "Barcelona", London's "Chelsea", and Milan's "Inter".

This season, in the Turkish championship, he has scored two goals in 11 matches.
