Journalist David Ornstein of "The Athletic" says that the club's management has started initial talks with B. Saka's camp regarding a new contract. The current contract of the young Englishman expires in 2023 with an option to extend for another year. "Arsenal" does not want to wait until that date and is looking to extend the contract with Bukayo Saka as soon as possible, as other clubs may be interested in the youngster as well. This season, B. Saka scored 9 goals and provided 5 assists in 28 matches in the "Premier" league.
