"Arsenal" beat "Milan" again, "Borussia" and "Lyon" finished their performance (VIDEO)

In the main evening match, London's "Arsenal" once again defeated the team of "AC Milan" with a two-goal difference. This time "Arsenal" won 3:1 (1:1) against the Milan team.

The guests from Italy knew their task, and already in the 35th minute after a great shot by Hakan Calhanoglu, "Milan" was leading 1:0. However, just a few minutes later, a penalty was awarded to "Milan" that caused a real commotion.

It was perfectly executed by Danny Welbeck, and the result became equal.

In the second half of the match, "Milan" tried in various ways to change the score, but everything was decided by Granit Xhaka, who scored precisely in the 71st minute. After a mistake by Gianluigi Donnarumma, the ball ended up in the net. And in the 86th minute, the same D. Welbeck scored the final goal for the "Milan" team.

Meanwhile, Dortmund's "Borussia" did not show anything surprising against Salzburg's "Red Bull" team, and the match ended 0:0. The Austrian team won the first match between the teams 2:1 and thus eliminated the "Borussia" club from the Europa League.

Meanwhile, CSKA from Moscow surprised in France, winning 3:2 (1:0) and, due to the goals scored away, eliminated "Lyon" from the Europa League.

The match in Moscow ended with a victory for "Lyon" 1:0, but they failed to maintain this advantage when they were already trailing 1:3 by the 65th minute. Although the French team scored another goal, it was not enough.

The Europa League quarter-finals marathon was opened by Madrid's "Atletico," who easily defeated Moscow's "Lokomotiv" 5:1 (1:1) and won the series with a total result of 8:1.

"Atletico" started the match by scoring a goal in the 16th minute by Angel Correa. However, in the 20th minute, the Russians managed to equalize when Maksim Rybus scored. Nevertheless, after the break, the show began.

In the 47th minute, Saul Niguez scored, and in the 65th minute, "Lokomotiv" committed a foul in the penalty area, and Fernando Torres scored from the penalty spot. Five minutes later, F. Torres scored his second goal.

Antoine Griezmann finished everything by scoring the team's fifth goal in the 85th minute.

Also advancing to the next stage was the Marseille team, who defeated "Athletic Bilbao" 2:1 (1:0) and won with a total result of 5:2.

In the 38th minute, Dimitri Payet scored for the French side, and in the 52nd minute, Lucas Ocampos doubled the lead. The Spanish team managed to score in the 74th minute with a goal from Inaki Williams.

Joining them was also the "Lazio" team, who won 2:0 (1:0) against Kiev's "Dynamo" and won the series 4:2.

The first goal of the match was scored in the 23rd minute by Lucas Leiva, and in the 83rd minute, Stefan de Vrij sealed the deal.

Advancing to the next stage was a bit harder for "RB Leipzig," who played a 1:1 (1:1) draw with St. Petersburg's "Zenit," but it was enough since the Germans won the first match 2:1.

In the 22nd minute, the scoring was opened by Jean-Kevin Augustin, but at the end of the first half, Sebastian Driussi equalized the score.

In the 82nd minute, Timo Werner missed a penalty, leaving the game a bit more intriguing. However, the Russians failed to score, and "RB Leipzig" advanced to the quarter-finals.

Meanwhile, "Sporting" only advanced after extra time, losing 1:2 (0:1) to the "Plzen" team but winning with a total result of 3:2.

"Plzen" scored in the 6th minute when Marek Bakos netted a goal. The same M. Bakos scored a second goal in the 64th minute, defeating the opponents' goalkeeper.

The teams could have avoided extra time, but Dostas Bostas missed a penalty in the 92nd minute.

However, during the added time period, Rodrigo Battaglia put "Sporting" ahead, and "Plzen" failed to score during the remaining time, letting the Lisbon team advance to the next stage.
