On Wednesday, two more Champions League round of 16 matches were played.
In the UEFA Champions League, London's Arsenal scored two goals in the final five minutes of the match and secured a victory against one of the tournament favorites, Barcelona, with a score of 2-1.
It seemed like the Catalans were taking a big step towards the next stage when David Villa scored after a superb pass in the first half.
The visitors had chances to increase their lead, but they failed to capitalize and paid dearly - with 12 minutes left to play, Robin van Persie equalized from a sharp angle, and just a few moments later, a quick attack ended with a precise shot from Andrei Arshavin.
Meanwhile in Rome, Shakhtar Donetsk scored three goals in 12 minutes and laid a solid foundation ahead of the second leg by beating Roma 3-2.
Simone Perrotta's header put the hosts ahead, but soon after, Jadson equalized with a ricochet, and Douglas Costa's curling shot put the Ukrainians in the lead.
Luis Adriano scored the third goal just before halftime, while Roma's hope was revived by Jeremy Menez's goal from about 17 meters.
