London's "Arsenal" captain Per Mertesacker has announced that he has completed his rehabilitation and is ready to start training with his team mates.
The defender suffered a serious knee injury during the preparation season and has not yet played a single match.
However, the German now insists that he has fully recovered.
"Rehabilitation couldn't have gone better, but now I am all packed and ready to come back home to the team," Mertesacker wrote on Twitter.
Returning to the main "Gunners" lineup for the 32-year-old veteran will not be easy, as this summer's new partner for Laurent Koscielny is Shkodran Mustafi.
Despite a few unsuccessful episodes, Mertesacker's compatriot seems confident for now.
