Dayot Upamecano will not leave "RB Leipzig" this summer. It has been officially announced that the 21-year-old center-back has extended his contract with the German club. His previous contract was set to expire next summer, so there were many clubs trying to sign him in this transfer window. D. Upamecano was mostly linked with London's "Arsenal". However, the player has decided to continue his work in Germany, where he will stay at least until 2023. His new contract will include a release clause of 50 million euros. The Frenchman has been playing for "Leipzig" since 2017 and has already appeared in 111 matches.
