"Arsenal" couldn't resist against "Man Utd" after being thrashed at home (VIDEO)

At the Emirates Stadium, spectators witnessed a duel between two English giants. London's Arsenal suffered a painful defeat in front of their fans against Manchester United.

The "Gunners" were more active from the very first minute, creating several opportunities in front of David De Gea's goal. Meanwhile, Louis van Gaal received bad news - Luke Shaw suffered an injury and had to leave the 16th minute.

The "Red Devils" did not have any serious scoring opportunities in the first half, and after the first 45 minutes, the scoreboard showed a tied result, 0-0.

In the second half, the first goal was finally scored, but it was Manchester United who managed to do it, with a precise strike being the first shot on target. In the 56th minute, Antonio Valencia's shot from Kieran Gibbs reached the Arsenal net.

During the remaining time, Arsene Wenger's players tried to "push forward," but they received another painful blow - the second goal. In the 85th minute, after a pass from Angel Di Maria, Wayne Rooney scored.

However, in the fifth minute of added time, the "Gunners" managed to reduce the gap when Olivier Giroud scored a great goal after coming on as a substitute, but his goal did not bring victory.

After the victory, Manchester United climbed to the fourth place with 19 points, while Arsenal dropped to the 8th position.
