On this evening, the only "Premier" league match was played between London clubs "Arsenal" and "Southampton". The "Gunners" needed a victory at the opponent's stadium like air, as any other result would have forced them to say goodbye to real chances of entering the UEFA Champions League.

After the break, the situation on the field did not change and the fierce battle continued, but the "Arsenal" team once again could rejoice in their stars, as in the 60th minute Mesut Ozil made a successful pass to Alexis Sanchez. He brilliantly turned away from the opponents and brought the "Gunners" forward.
Then "Southampton" tried to respond to the successful attack of the opponents by releasing more attacking players onto the field, but it did not help them.
Finally, taking advantage of the situation, the "Gunners" set up another great attack, during which Sanchez made a pass to Aaron Ramsey in the penalty area, and he headed the ball to Olivier Giroud, who only had to head it in.
So, Arsene Wenger's army won three points and rose to fifth place in the league table. "Arsenal" is three points behind "Manchester City" with three games left to play and four points behind "Liverpool" with one more game played.
