On Saturday, the English Premier League games of the 29th round were played.
The first match took place in London, where "Crystal Palace" hosted QPR in front of their own fans. Alan Pardew's team secured a 3-1 victory.
By the end of the first half, "Crystal Palace" was leading 3-0. Wilfried Zaha, James McArthur, and Joel Ward scored goals for the winners. Matt Phillips scored a consolation goal for QPR in the 83rd minute.
After the victory, "Crystal Palace" remains in 12th place, while QPR, who suffered a defeat, are in 18th place.
In other games, London's "Arsenal" defeated "West Ham" 3-0 and maintained their third place. Olivier Giroud, Aaron Ramsey, and Mathieu Flamini scored the winning goals for the "Gunners".
In this round, "West Brom" and "Aston Villa" also secured victories, while the match between "Leicester" and "Hull City" ended in a goalless draw.
In a somewhat unexpected defeat, "Manchester City" suffered a loss in the last evening game. Burnley's defender George Boyd scored the winning goal and almost shattered the hopes of the "Citizens" to fight for the Premier League title.
