At 18:00 in the English "Premier" league, the last matches of the 6th round were played.
London's "Arsenal" hosted Liverpool's "Everton" at home. In the second half, the "gunners'" attacking duo scored their fourth consecutive victory - the "toffees" were defeated with a score of 2:0.
In the first half, there were no goals, although both teams played quite actively. The hosts had more possession of the ball, but Petr Čech also had to make some saves at his goal.
The first goal of the match, which put "Arsenal" in the lead, came in the 56th minute - after a pass from Aaron Ramsey, Alexandre Lacazette left no chances with a shot directly into the corner of the goal.
Shortly after - within three minutes - the hosts increased their advantage with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scoring. The striker scored during a quick counterattack, although the referee did not notice an obvious offside. With the referee's flag not being raised, the second goal lit up on the "Arsenal" scoreboard.
After recovering from two initial losses, "Arsenal" earned their 12th point and rose to the 6th position. The situation for "Everton" is much worse - with one victory, the "toffees" are placed 12th.
