West Ham's team achieved a dramatic victory at the end of the match. Winston Reid scored a goal in the 95th minute and helped the Hammers secure a victory against Sunderland.
In other matches, Stoke City defeated Hull City, while Swansea and Watford played to a goalless draw.
In the last Saturday match, Liverpool clashed with West Brom at Anfield stadium. Two goals in the first half secured the Reds' victory with a 2-1 score.
In the 20th minute, Sadio Mane put the hosts ahead with a great shot, and Philippe Coutinho doubled the lead after 15 minutes. In the 81st minute, the opponents narrowed the gap, but West Brom could not equalize in the remaining time.
After the victory, Liverpool drew level with Arsenal in points but remained in second place due to a better goal difference.
