“Arsenal” – Champions League quarterfinals. After a long time, the “gunners” achieved such a feat as they had to tire out with “Porto” in the quarterfinals, who missed two penalty kicks in the shootout and surrendered in the English capital.

The main time ended with a score of 1:0, while the overall series result was 1:1.

“Porto” had a strong start to the match, but they failed to consolidate it with a goal.

In the 41st minute, Martin Odegaard created a great opportunity for Leandro Trossard. The Belgian skillfully defeated the opponent's goalkeeper Diogo Costa and equalized the series result.

In the middle of the second half, Odegaard sent a shot towards goal, but the attack was stopped by Kai Havertz.

During the remaining regular time, both teams did not come close to another goal, and everything smoothly transitioned to extra time.

During the additional 30 minutes of the match, neither team managed to score, so the winner was decided in a penalty shootout. It was the first such "lottery" in the Champions League since the 2016 final.

During the shootout, David Raya became the hero for “Arsenal”, as he saved two opponent's penalties.

“Gunners” reached the Champions League quarterfinals for the first time since 2010. The draw for this stage will take place on Friday during lunch.
