The English newspaper "Daily Mirror" reports that London's "Arsenal" wants to strengthen its squad with footballers playing in Italy.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been interested in both of them for two years now, but back then the Frenchman failed to acquire them.
One of the candidates to become the new sniper of the capital's club is Turin's "Juventus" player Alvaro Morata. The Spaniard had a slow start to this season, but gradually he has scored a total of 10 goals and eight assists.
Another player, who is attracting attention from the team currently holding the third place in the "Premier" league - defender Kostas Manolas from "Roma". The rapidly improving 24-year-old Greek is highly valued, and we recently wrote about London's "Chelsea" interest in him.
Arsenal's targets seem solid. However, luring them to North London may not be easy due to the interest from other teams. Moreover, Morata's contract includes a condition that Real Madrid has the priority to re-sign him.
