On Thursday evening, London's "Arsenal" team swallowed yet another bitter pill - a defeat to Frankfurt's "Eintracht" club in an empty "Emirates" stadium.
The "Gunners" remained winless for the seventh consecutive game. Dissatisfied with such poor results, "Arsenal" fans demand Unai Emery's "head", but the strategist himself is not thinking about dismissal or resignation yet.
"I only think about the upcoming matches and the analysis of these matches," - U. Emery responded to a question about his future.
"We need to analyze and see what we can improve before the match on Sunday. The players are not in the best shape right now, but if we continue to work and play the entire match like we did in the first half, I think we can expect something," - continued the strategist.
"Arsenal" took the lead in the first half against "Eintracht", but the opponents punished the "Gunners" in the second half.
"We controlled the flow of the match in the first half, scored a goal, and I believe we deserved a better result. I am satisfied with the team's performance in the first half. We played well both collectively and individually.
The second half also started pretty well, but after 15 minutes we lost control and conceded two goals. We should have scored another goal, which would have allowed us to hope for a different end to the match," - added the Spaniard.
Whether U. Emery will lead the team in the upcoming match against "Norwich" is still a big question mark.
