Goal.com reports that London's "Arsenal" may finalize a deal in the coming days for "Villarreal" defender Gabriel Paulista.
The negotiations for the Brazilian, valued at 20 million euros, are already well advanced, and the player's agent is currently in the capital of England.
On the other hand, there may be complications with Gabriel's work permit, as he is not a citizen of the European Union. If the Brazilian had played 75 percent of matches for the national team in the last two years, there would be no problems, but the 24-year-old player has not yet had the opportunity to represent his country.
Currently, the Football Association is trying to solve the issues arising from complicated work rules, and "Arsenal" hopes to successfully acquire the defender.
Gabriel is in great form this season - his team has only conceded 17 goals in 19 matches. Both the "Villarreal" coach and the player himself confirmed the possible move to the "Gunners" earlier this week.
