Yesterday, London's "Arsenal" club, who eliminated their closest rival from the "Capital One" Cup, is already looking to strengthen for winter. "The Independent" reported that Turin's "Juventus" defender Daniele Rugani is on the "Gunners" radar.
The 21-year-old player, who is currently playing in the middle, played on loan at "Empoli" last season, but is already included in the main squad of the "bianconeri" this season. However, Rugani has not yet played a single match.
Nevertheless, it is worth mentioning that the defender has represented all age groups of Italy's youth national teams.
Currently, "Arsenal" has three central defenders - Per Mertesacker, Laurent Koscielny, and Gabriel Paulista. According to Transfermarkt data, the contracts of the German and French players are valid until the summer of 2017, so Rugani could potentially replace one of them in the future.
Meanwhile, 24-year-old Gabriel arrived in North London just last winter, and his contract will expire in 2019.
