Reliable journalist Florian Plattenberg announces that London's "Arsenal" is on the verge of acquiring Ajax defender Jurrien Timber.
It is reported that the Gunners will pay 41 million euros up front for the Dutchman, along with 5 million in bonuses. A full agreement between the clubs will be reached within the next 48 hours.
Different sources report that personal contract terms between the player and the London club have already been agreed upon, and Timber has already missed the first Ajax pre-season training session.
The 22-year-old footballer played 42 matches wearing Ajax's jersey last season, scoring two goals and providing two assists.
