London's "Arsenal" club has started negotiations with French Olivier Giroud regarding new contract terms.
The striker revealed that the team is discussing an extension of the contract. The current contract of O.Giroud with the "Gunners" will expire in 2016.
During the last season, O.Giroud scored 22 goals and made 12 assists in 51 official matches for "Arsenal."
The footballer joined the team in the summer of 2012, when Arsene Wenger paid £10.5 million to the "Montpellier" club for him.
"I have two more years left on my contract, but negotiations for an extension have begun. For now, I will remain in this club. We have big goals," he said.
"I feel good in England. My first season wasn't bad, the second one was even better, and I hope to improve even more next season, just as the team keeps improving," - said the 27-year-old striker about his future.
