Londono „Arsenal“ officially announced that they have extended the contract with goalkeeper David Raya. The duration of the contract has not been disclosed yet, but a long-term contract has been signed with the goalkeeper.

The 28-year-old Spaniard made his debut for „Arsenal“ last season and immediately won the „Golden Glove“ as the best goalkeeper of the season. Prior to that, D. Raya spent four years with the „Brentford“ team, after moving from „Blackburn“ to this squad.

Currently, D. Raya is participating in the European Football Championship with the Spanish national team. He stood in goal for the national team in the match against Albania, when the Spaniards decided to give a rest to Unai Simon.
