Late on Wednesday evening, the postponed 33rd round of matches in the English Premier League took place.
In front of their own fans, London's Arsenal welcomed the Sunderland footballers. Arsene Wenger's team played on even terms and missed the chance to stay as the country's vice champions.
The Gunners controlled the ball for much longer and created more dangerous opportunities. However, this was not enough and the match ended goalless.
Arsenal, currently in third place, lost the chance to overtake Manchester City in second place with only one match left to play in the championship.
Result:
Arsenal 0 - 0 Sunderland
