Yesterday announcing that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan have already agreed on future contracts with London's "Arsenal", the portal WA.com reveals that the transfer fee for Aubameyang has also been agreed upon.
The sniper's move should be completed in the near future, as the "Gunners" have agreed to pay the requested £53 million to Borussia Dortmund. However, there is no mention of Olivier Giroud, who, according to previous rumors, could have moved in the opposite direction.
The 28-year-old footballer would become the most expensive Arsenal purchase of all time, but in the current market conditions his transfer seems truly cheap. It is worth mentioning that BVB rejected an even slightly larger offer from Manchester City in the summer of 2016.
This season Aubameyang continues to excel in Germany and has scored 21 goals and made three assists in 23 matches in all competitions so far.
