The Spanish newspaper "Marca" reports that London's "Arsenal" has reconsidered Mikel Arteta's candidacy and now wants to appoint Unai Emery as head coach. Former "Gunners" player has recently become the main target of the capital club, when Arsene Wenger wanted to see a young specialist in his place. However, it now seems that Emery could replace the Frenchman, who arrived in London today and had talks with "Arsenal" executives. Compared to Arteta, Emery has significantly more experience - in the last two seasons he has managed "Paris Saint-Germain", and before that he won the UEFA Europa League three times with "Sevilla". Meanwhile, Arteta worked as an assistant to "Manchester City" coach Pep Guardiola for two years. These news were recently confirmed by the highly reliable "BBC" journalist David Ornstein, according to whom, all board members prefer Emery over Arteta. It is expected that the official announcement of the new coach will be made later this week.
