London's "Arsenal" started the year 2025 with a victory.

The "Gunners" triumphed over "Brentford" footballers with a score of 3:1 in an away match on the first day of the year in the English Premier League.

The first goal of the match was scored by "Brentford" in the 13th minute by Bryan Mbeumo.

Gabriel Jesus equalized the score in the 29th minute.

"Arsenal" determined the outcome of the match in a short period at the beginning of the second half. First, Mikel Merino equalized the score in the 50th minute, and just three minutes later, Gabriel Martinelli scored with a long shot.

This victory allowed "Arsenal" to return to the second position in the league table.
