The US national team officially announced that Arsenal talent Folarin Balogun has decided to play for the "Yankees" national football team.
The 21-year-old striker had to choose between the Nigerian, English, and US national teams. He was born in America and grew up in England. At the same time, his parents are from Nigeria.
F. Balogun, who came through the Arsenal academy, scored 19 goals this season in the "Ligue 1" championship, representing the "Reims" team.
This summer, the "Gunners" are expected to receive a substantial sum for this striker who wants to move to a club where he would get more minutes on the pitch.
In youth national team football, F. Balogun represented England.
