From "Roma" sports director position, Monchi officially returns to "Sevilla".
Monchi, who has become famous throughout Europe, has recently been linked to London's "Arsenal" club. It was rumored that Monchi wanted to join forces with Unai Emery, whom he had in his team during the "Sevilla" times.
"AS" reported on Sunday that Monchi has decided to no longer seek new career challenges and return to the "Sevilla" club, where he worked as a sports director from 2007 to 2017.
This information was soon confirmed by the Andalusian club itself.
Monchi became most famous during his time with the "Sevilla" team. He discovered football stars such as Dani Alves, Ivan Rakitic, Carlos Bacca, Julio Baptista, Luis Fabiano, among others.
