On Sunday at 18:30 in the evening, two more matches of the 10th round were played in the English Premier League.
At the "Emirates" stadium, the London Arsenal football players once again put on a disappointing performance. The powerful start by the "Gunners" did not hold up to a two-goal lead and they ended up with a 2-2 draw against London Crystal Palace.
Arsenal was led forward in these games by the central defenders combo - Sokratis scored in the 7th minute after a corner, and David Luiz precisely struck almost the same situation two minutes later.
Having gained a solid advantage after two set-piece situations, Arsenal started to believe in victory, but the further course of the match brought something else.
In the 32nd minute, Luka Milivojević scored from the 11-meter mark, reducing the deficit, and Jordan Ayew equalized the score at the beginning of the second half.
At the very end of the match, Sokratis again led Arsenal forward, but Martin Atkinson awarded a foul against L. Milivojević after a VAR review, and Arsenal remained without the third goal.
By losing points, Arsenal increased their deficit to four points from Chelsea.
In other matches, the Manchester United team returned to the path of victories, even though they didn't convert two penalties against Norwich.
The "Red Devils" could have led by a crushing margin after the first half, but the scoreboard showed a somewhat modest result - 2:0.
Scott McTominay led Man Utd forward, and Marcus Rashford increased the lead in the 30th minute. However, before this goal, Rashford missed a penalty, and at the end of the half, Anthony Martial repeated the same - Tim Krul also reacted to his shot from the 11-meter mark.
In the second half, Martial made up for it and scored his third goal against Norwich in the 73rd minute. In the 88th minute, the hosts added a consolation goal through Onel Hernandez.
After the win, Man Utd moved up from 13th place to 7th place, now only three points behind Arsenal.
