Londono "Arsenal" fans can't expect much from the winter transfer window - team coach Unai Emery admitted that the club cannot sign long-term contracts.
For some time now, there have been speculations in the media about the arrival of Denis Suarez to the "Gunners". It is claimed that the player himself has given his verbal agreement, but "Arsenal" cannot fully acquire the Spaniard, as they do not want to spend money in the middle of the season.
At a press conference, U. Emery confirmed to journalists that "Arsenal" can only loan players this winter, not sign them for several seasons ahead.
"We cannot sign players," the strategist immediately said. "We can only loan them. I know the club is considering various options and looking for players who can help the team in important matches, which is what we need. I cannot say anything more."
