On Sunday, there were two more matches of the 34th round of the English Premier League.
The first match took place at St. James Park stadium, where Newcastle hosted London Arsenal. The hosts caused a surprise by defeating the visitors from London, who have not won a single point playing away since 2018.
In the 14th minute, Arsenal took the lead - after a great pass from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette scored a goal.
However, the hosts quickly equalized - Ayoze Perez restored balance in the 29th minute.
The second half unfolded similarly - both teams did not shine in attack, but had their chances.
Finally, Arsenal were punished for a poor defense in the 68th minute, and a precise strike from Matt Ritchie brought the victory to the hosts.
Arsenal, after the setback, increased their gap behind Chelsea in fifth place to 6 points.
In other matches, Manchester United will face West Brom. In case of failure, United will allow Manchester City to secure the championship title.
