AS: "La Liga" club captains are not preparing for a strike

Spanish press denies earlier news that a player strike is planned because of an agreement among "La Liga" leaders to play matches in North America.

As reported, after a meeting of club captains and vice-captains of the Spanish championship on Wednesday, it was decided not to take radical steps for now.

Most stars did not agree with this. This statement is completely contrary to the thoughts of David Agonzo, the head of the Spanish players' association, who claims that athletes are considering boycotting meetings.

However, footballers expressed surprise that club leaders, who were supposed to receive early signals about the intentions of "La Liga" leaders, did not inform them at all.

The situation that has arisen will be attempted to be resolved through negotiations in the coming weeks.
