„AS Roma“ actively seeks ways to strengthen the team in the transfer window. One transfer has already been officially confirmed - from the „Arsenal“ team, the Romans „wolves“ borrowed versatile midfielder Ainsley Maitland-Niles on loan without the option to buy.

„AS Roma“ is also negotiating with the „Porto“ team for the acquisition of attacking midfielder Sergio Oliveira, journalist Fabrizio Romano reports. F. Romano also adds that Roma offers „Porto“ to loan the Portuguese with the possibility to buy him for 15 million euros after the season.
S. Oliveira's current season is not as good, but in the previous one, the 29-year-old player shined: in the Portuguese league, the „Porto“ player made 5 assists and scored 13 goals, and in the Champions League, he scored 5 times, including an outstanding performance against „Juventus“ in the knockout stages.
„AS Roma“ will continue negotiations with the „Porto“ team next week regarding a possible transfer of S. Oliveira.”
