In the Italian Serie A league, Milan's Inter club defeated Genoa at home with a score of 2:1. This is already their 9th consecutive victory in this championship.

The "Nerazzurri" were ahead in the 30th minute thanks to Christian Eriksen. In the 38th minute, Alexis Sanchez doubled the score by converting a penalty kick from 11 meters.

In the 54th minute, Johan Vasquez narrowed the score.
