Today, the Scottish Premier League club, where a Lithuanian player is playing, announced that they have fired head coach David Hay.
"It just happened like that," former Scottish national team member D. Hay told Reuters. "I managed the club for only one season, but this once again proves how unpredictable the world of football is."
Dunfermline also fired assistant coach Billy Kirkwood. In a crucial match on Saturday, the team will be led by coach Paul Hegarty.
D. Hay took over the helm at Dunfermline last June, replacing Jimmy Calderwood who had left for Aberdeen.
