Birmingham City coach Martin O'Neill revealed that the team's defender James Milner expressed a desire to move to the club.
"Aston Villa" had received an offer for the 24-year-old player, but, according to reports, the amount of money offered did not satisfy the club's executives.
"There is still a question mark over Milner," said M. O'Neill. "I spoke to him before the World Cup and he expressed a desire to leave if the opportunity arises. I really don't know what the situation is at the moment. We will wait for him to return to the team after the holidays, then everything will become clear."
Milner has a contract with Aston Villa for another two years.
