On Tuesday evening, the first participant of the English League Cup final was revealed.
After a dramatic battle, it was the "Aston Villa" club that, in front of their fans, defeated the "Leicester City" footballers in extra time.
Matt Targett put the hosts ahead in the 12th minute. In the 72nd minute, the "foxes" managed to equalize and level the score in the overall series.
However, the teams did not reach extra time - Trezeguet sealed the victory for Birmingham's team in the 93rd minute.
The "Aston Villa" team will face one of the Manchester teams in the final.
