Former club chairman Sir Alan Sugar (Alan Sugar) claims that Roman Abramovich's "football revolution" is harmful to football.
The current largest shareholder of Tottenham club is an influential businessman in England.
Sir A. Sugar believes that no one can offer larger sums than those offered by Abramovich's-led club, and this harms the entire football industry and competitiveness.
"The changes at Chelsea are such that selfish players come there wanting to play in the Premier League," he said. "They offer large salaries to facilitate negotiations with clubs. Transfer fees are absurdly high. If Chelsea wants a player that other clubs also wanted, there will be no competition. This is a simple commercial fact - other clubs will not get that player."
"Abramovich is a very wealthy man, and I wish him success," Sir A. Sugar continued. "He has an appetite for trophies with the club, but it's just a hobby for him. The man has money and can do what he wants. As long as he has that much money, he can enjoy himself, but it creates an unfair game on the field."
"It's not good for football, but I can't do anything about it."
