At the age of 43, Brazilian Rivaldo returned to the field

2002 World Champion Rivaldo continues his football player career. The 43-year-old Brazilian appeared on the field in his country's second league championship.

Rivaldo is the president of the "Mogi Mirim" club, but he wore his team's uniform during the match against the "Nautico" team.

The best footballer in the world in 1999 played from the beginning of the match, but in the 68th minute he sat on the bench. Shortly after his substitution, "Mogi Mirim" equalized the score, and a few minutes before the end, they scored the winning goal. Rivaldo's team finally celebrated their first victory (2:1) in the last 11 matches.

"After a 15-month break, I started training again. And it only took me 20 days to be able to play again," Rivaldo rejoiced. "My example should inspire any young football player."
