On Sunday evening, the eighth match of the 32nd round of the English "Premier League" took place.
The struggling "Cardiff City" hosted the footballers of "Chelsea" from London at home. Without Eden Hazard and N'Golo Kante, the "Blues" only managed to break the hosts' team towards the end of the match.
In the first half, both teams practically had no opportunities to score, but the visitors from London surprised in the very beginning of the second half.
In the 46th minute, Victor Camarasa directed the ball into Kepa's goal with a great shot from the penalty area and put the hosts in the lead.
"Chelsea" had nowhere to turn and besieged the opponents' goal, but scoring the equalizing goal was not easy. In the 84th minute, the hope to fight for victory was restored by Cesar Azpilicueta. However, there was a huge dissatisfaction in the "Cardiff" stadium because the "Chelsea" defender was clearly offside for this goal.
Feeling the taste of blood, "Chelsea" eventually left the hosts without points - in the 91st minute, Ruben Loftus-Cheek scored with a great header to secure the victory for the "Chelsea" team.
After the victory, "Chelsea" remains in the sixth position.
