On Friday, the 2017 European Under-21 Football Championship kicked off in Poland.
On Saturday, two intriguing matches took place in Group B. In the first match, the Portuguese youth team defeated their peers from Serbia with a score of 2-0 and earned the first three points for themselves.
In the later matches, the Spanish footballers created a true football show - scoring four amazing goals and achieving a victory with a score of 5-0 against the Macedonian youth team.
In the 10th minute, Saul Niguez put the Spaniards ahead with a great shot. Then, a show began with Marco Asensio from Real Madrid - in the 16th minute, the winger increased his team's advantage with a stunning shot from about 30 meters.
In the 35th minute, Gerard Deulofeu started the opponents' collapse, scoring from the penalty spot. In the second half, M. Asensio scored two more goals - in the 54th minute, he beat the opponents' goalkeeper from a sharp angle, and in the 72nd minute, M. Asensio, known as the most talented Spanish footballer, made a run through half of the field and put the final point in this duel.
It is interesting to note that this was the first hat-trick in the young footballer's career.
