At the start of the South American Championship - a stunning Brazilian victory

On Friday night in Brazil, the 46th South American Championship began, with a total of 12 national teams competing.

The opening match took place in the city of San Paulo, where the teams of Brazil and Bolivia faced off. In front of 46,000 fans, the Brazilians achieved a stunning victory in the second half with a score of 3:0.

In the first half, the tournament favorites failed to score but managed to strike back in the following 45 minutes.

In the 50th minute, Philippe Coutinho put the hosts ahead from the penalty spot, and just three minutes later, he scored his second goal with his head.

The final touch in this clash was added from the bench by Everton, who appeared after a substitution and managed to score a few minutes before the end.

Also competing in the group of Brazilians and Bolivians are Venezuela and Peru. These two teams will face off tonight at 22:00 Lithuanian time.
