On Sunday evening, two teams competing for the top spots in Serie A met.
Udinese erased a two-goal deficit and played a 2-2 draw with Atalanta at home.
The first goal of the match came in the 36th minute. After a pass from Luis Muriel, Adamola Lookman sent the ball into the net for the visitors.
In the second half, Atalanta doubled their lead. In the 56th minute, Luis Muriel converted a penalty from 11 meters, making the score 2-0.
However, Udinese didn't give up and in the 67th minute, they narrowed the gap. Gerard Deulofeu perfectly executed a penalty kick.
Just 9 minutes later, the score was level. After a pass from Roberto Pereyra, Nehuen Perez scored with a great header, beating the opponent's goalkeeper.
After these matches, Atalanta temporarily rose to the top of the league table, passing Napoli who have played one less game. Meanwhile, Udinese is in third place, also trailing the leaders by just one point.
