On Wednesday, the sixth round of the UEFA Champions League group stage continues. "Atalanta" secured an important victory and a ticket to the next stage by defeating Amsterdam's "Ajax" with a minimal score of 1:0 away from home. The Dutch champions were satisfied only with a victory in these matches, so "Ajax" was the more active team throughout the game. However, in the 79th minute, the hosts were reduced to ten men - Ryan Gravenberch was sent off. "Ajax's" hopes of advancing to the next stage were finally shattered in the 85th minute by Luis Muriel, who gifted the victory to "Atalanta's" team. In Group D, "Atalanta" finished in second place, only behind "Liverpool".
