Although there were no goals in the first half, at the end of it Napoli suffered a painful blow - goalkeeper David Ospina could not continue the match due to a head injury. Both goals came at the beginning of the second half, with Mario Pasalic putting the hosts ahead in the 47th minute. Atalanta's victory was sealed in the 55th minute by Robin Gosens.
